Napoli looks set to part with striker Arkadiusz Milik, but may also listen to suitable offers for Kevin Malcuit and Faouzi Ghoulam.
It has been a relatively quiet transfer window for Gli Azzuri so far. The coming days are likely to bring the news of the departure of Polish striker Milik. The player is due to take his medical in Marseille today.
With all things considered, Gennaro Gattuso and club officials seem content with the team’s squad and their balancing of the budget.
However, sources state that the club may still be willing to listen to reasonable offers for Malcuit and Ghoulan.
Full-back Kevin Malcuit joined the club from Lille in 2018 for a fee of around €800,000. However, he has made only five Serie A appearances, in total, during the past two campaigns.
Faouzi Ghoulam is a veteran of the Partenopei side, joining from Saint-Etienne in 2014. While he has worn the Gli Azzuri shirt on 139 occasions until the present day, he has also made only a handful of appearances during the 2020/21 campaign. Previously, the full-back had been on the transfer radar of Manchester United and Chelsea according to reports.
There are no clear indications that any transfer offers are lined up at the moment, but with the transfer deadline drawing nearer, Napoli may be fielding some calls soon enough.
