Probable Line-up for Napoli’s Ahead of Visit to Udinese

Napoli takes on Udinese in Round 17 of Serie A. Here is the line-up and team formation that manager Gennaro Gattuso is most likely to field on Sunday.

In spite of the unexpected defeat to Spezia this mid-week, Gattuso has reasons to be optimistic about his team’s chances. Gli Azzuri’s previous two games have revealed a tremedous capacity to get in front of goal.

For this reason, it is unlikely that the Napoli manager will want to stray from his 4-2-3-1 formation. He has, after all, used this throughout most of the season and players are ighly familiar with the approach.

Napoli’s line-up will most likely consist of:

Meret,Di Lorenzo, Manolas, Rrahmani, Hysaj, Fabian Ruiz, Bakayoko, Lozano, Zielinski, Insigne, Petagna

The Partenopei will be without Dries Mertens, Victor Osimhen, and Kevin Malcuit, all suffering from long-term injuries. It sould be noted that Osimhen, who had been certified as fit following a shoulder injury, has recently contracted Covid-19.

It’s also important to note that defender Kalidou Koulibaly, who has also sutrggled with injuries recently, will likely be forced to watch the start of the game from the substitute’s bench.
