Paolo Maldini, former great of the Italian national team and current Club Director for AC Milan, praised Gennaro Gattuso’s management skills ahead of the clash between Napoli and the Rossoneri.
Napoli travel to Milan tonight for an important fixture in Serie A and a classic derby between two of Italy’s most beloved clubs.
Prior to the game, AC Milan’ Club Director, Paolo Maldini, shared his opinion on the importance of the match as well as the management abilities of another former great of Squadra Azzura, Gennaro Gattuso.
Maldini told reporters that he has nothing but affection for Gattuso and believes that the manager’s abilities are in a constant state of evolution.
The former Italian center-back says that Milan are a team that deserve respect ahead of the fixture again Gli Azzuri. He believes thaat a vicory for his side would help not only in continuing the pursuit of Inter Milan, current leaders of Serie A, but also keeping Napoli away from the top spots.
Finally, Maldini assured fans of AC Milan that the club is looking for ways to ensure Zlatan Ibrahimovic will remain with the club in the future and that Franck Kessie’s contract deal, which expires in 2022, is bound to be renewed in the near future.
