Napoli Loan Out Ouanas to Cagliari Until the End of the Season
Napoli has confirmed that they will loan out winger Adam Ounas until the end of the Serie A season. The midfielder was previously out on loan with Ligue 1 side, Nice, and Cagliari in Serie A.
Ounas’ time at Cagliari has come to an end. Napoli is keen to get the Algerian ready for Serie A. For this purpose, club officials have taken the decision to allow him to play for Crotone until the end of the season in order to gain experience and match fitness.
According to Sky Sport 24, the player was undecided about returning to Cagliari where he failed to play a single Serie A game last year. Instead, Ounas has opted for the Rossoblù.
Crotone is bottom of the Italian league and in desperate need of talent that can see them rise from this position and save them from relegation.
Adam Ounas arrived in Naples in 2017, but has. so far, not had many opportunities to display his ability. He has played 25 times for Gli Azzuri, scoring 3 goals in the process.
However, since 2019, club officils have taken the decision to loan out the player. During the 2019/20 edition he played for Nice where he made 16 appearances and scored twice. In 2020, he moved back to Italy, and was loaned to Cagliari for whom he did not play.
Ounas is still highly rated in Naples and it is hoped that the most recent experience will benefit the 24-year-old’s development.
