Match Preview: Napoli – FC Torino

Napoli will be looking to get back on track with a win over lowly FC Torino. Gattuso’s men are hoping to move away from the poor performance at the mid-week when they lost to Lazio. Here’s what to expect from the match to be played Stadio Diego Maradona this Wednesday.

Napoli – FC Torino (Serie A – Round 14)
When: Wed 4/3/21, 16:00 EET
Where: Stadio Diego Maradona, Napoli

Napoli without Lozano and Koulibaly

Napoli are likely to line-up in their classic 4-2-3-1 formation. Manager Gennaro Gattuso has used this formation across the season.

Longtime injuries are still an issue for Gli Azzuri. Victor Osimhen and Dries Mertens are both missing.

Kalidou Koulibaly and Hirving Lozano picked up injuries against Lazio and are doubtful for the game. Lozano’s influence in particular will be sorely missed in the event that he does not play.

FC Torino in desperate need of points

FC Torino seems to be edging closer to relegation every week. Performances have been poor, despite that the squad has a few of Serie A’s best players at their disposal such as Andre Belott and Bremer.

Meanwhile, the team will also be without a number of high-profile players, out through long-term injuries. Cristian Ansaldi, Simone Zaza, Daniele Baselli and Federico Bonazzoli are out injured. Lyanco is suspended for this game.

Here are the predicted line-ups for tonight’s match:

SSC Napoli (4-2-3-1): Meret, Di Lorenzo, Manolas, Maksimovic, Hysaj, Hysaj, Bakayoko, Politano, Zielinski, Petagna

FC Torino (3-5-1-1): Sirigu, Izzo, Bremer, Rodriguez, Singo, Meité, Rincon, Linetty, Vojvoda, Lukic, Belotti
