Andrea Petagna Likely Out for Around 10 Days
Forward Andrea Petagna is dealing with an injury, according to Sky Sports, and may be out for around 10 days.
The player has trained separetely from his teammates ahead of Napoli’s Europa League clash against Granada.
Petagna is the latest in a series of injuries that have rocked Gli Azzzurri and have forced manager Gennaro Gattuso to improvise ahead of the important European clas.
Sky Sports were the ones to break the news regarding Petagna. According to reporter Massimo Ugolini, the forward is certainly going to be out for Napoli’s next three games. These include the two legs against Granada, as well as the Serie A clash against Atalanta, the team that knocked out Napoli from Coppa Italia.
Petagna could be seen today training separately from the rest of the squad. The player followed a strict gym and therapy routing, while the rest of them worked on their tactical approach ahead of the important tie against the Spanish club.
The forward is far from the only player dealing with injury concerns. Kalidou Koulibaly and Elseid Hysaj are both out after being tested positive with Covid-19. David Ospina and Hirving Lozano suffered injuries in the match against Juventus and should be out for a few weeks each.
